Assured Restoration takes pride in its approval success with Insurance claims from Storm Damage. The process is simple and we want the homeowners feeling comfortable filing a claim for storm damage. If a homeowner has never filed a claim with their insurance company before then it can be intimidating; that’s why here at Assured Restoration we will handle the process from start to finish.

 

The first step

is scheduling a Free Roof Inspection through either our website or by phone. We will send out an Insurance Claim’s Specialist to thoroughly inspect the homeowner’s property to verify and confirm there is storm damage. We will take photos and complete a detailed damage report for the insurance company.

 

The Second Step

after we have verified the damage, Assured will help get the claim filed through the Insurance Company. It is important the claim is filed on the proper date the damages occurred, Assured has a database of all severe weather dates and times to assure the claim is filed for the proper time window. The majority of Insurance companies give homeowners a 12-month statute to file storm related claims.

 

Depending on the Insurance Company, once the claim has been filed the policy holder will receive a call from an insurance adjuster. The adjuster will set up an appointment date and time to inspect the damages that have occurred. The most important part of this process is to have an Assured insurance specialist to represent you at the time of the claim to insure fair settlement.

 

After the claim is approved, a production manager will contact you from Assured Restoration to schedule building dates. After all the work is complete, Assured Restoration will send all invoices and pictures of completed work to insurance company to receive final payment.

 

Payment Process:

The insurance companies break payments for storm damage claims into a two part payment process. Once the work is approved, the insurance company pays for the material to get the job started. They hold back a certain percentage depending on how old the roof is to insure the work gets done. Once the work is complete, the final payment will be sent from the insurance company. All checks for work Assured Restoration completes should be made payable to Assured Restoration and endorsed.
